Dr. Michael Rubino, DPT, MTC, graduated in 2003 from the University of Miami with a Bachelors Degree in Health Science. He then completed his graduate education by obtaining his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2005. One year later, Dr. Rubino returned to St. Augustine to sit for his Manual Therapy Certification exam. He was awarded this specialty certification, with a focus in orthopedic and spine rehabilitation. Dr. Rubino has been practicing in the Bonita Springs and Naples area for the last eight years, as an independent contractor. This has allowed him the pleasure of working with several of the gulf coast's most prestigious out patient clinics, home health companies and in patient centers.

He is constantly seeking to develop research and evidence-based physical therapy skills.  Dr. Rubino is a certified Titlest Performance Institute professional, allowing him to provide golf performance screenings to golf professionals and avid golfers. He combines his skills of manual manipulative techniques and neuromuscular interventions with sports performance screening to help clients identify potential problematic musculoskeletal issues that often lead to injury and time away from the sports and functionality they love.

Dr. Rubino is dedicated to helping educate each of his patients so they can understand the cause of pain and provide them with strategies to help minimize dysfunction through careful movement and customized exercise programs. He is passionate about helping motivate his clients to help themselves become independent with a program tailored to their individual needs.

Dr. Rubino is a proud husband and father to a 3 year old boy and an 8 month old daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family, teaching, hunting, golfing, fishing, reading and surfing!
